Ceresit WhiteTeq - poliuretanska pena

Ceresit WHITETEQ PU pena je nova generacija bele PU pene na osnovi polimerov, ki temeljijo na očiščenih ter koncentriranih sestavinah, ki dajejo WHITETEQ PU peni snežno belo barvo, fino celično strukturo in do 10 krat večjo UV odpornost. Ceresit WHITETEQ toplotna in zvočna izolacija se odlikuje z največjo toplotno učinkovitostjo (do 0,032 W/mK) in lastnostjo zvočne izolacije (63dB). Ima nizko stopnjo pritiska v času strjevanja in s tem maksimalno zaščito pred deformacijami. Skorajšnja 25% fleksibilnost skupaj z mehansko trdnostjo zagotavlja dolgoročno učinkovitost izolacije, kar je kot nalašč za zahtevna izolacijska dela. Področje uporabe: za izolacijo okenskih in vratnih okvirjev, za tesnjenje strešnih odprtin in materialov za izolacijo, za zapolnjevanje odprtin okoli cevi in drugo.

Korak po korak

Substrate preparation

• Ensure substrates are stable, clean and free of substances likely to impair
  adhesion.
• Moisturize mineral, porous substrates (brickwork, concrete,limestone) with
  water spray for enhanced adhesion.
• Mask off adjacent areas with foil.

Can preparation

• Application temperature (environment) of this product is -5°C to +35°C.
• Store can preferably for at least 12 hours in room temperature. Limits for can
  temperature: +5 … +30 °C.
• Shake the can vigorously before use (15 - 20 times).

WHITETEQ temperature Indicator on the front: while the indicator has turns blue, the can is too cold for usage. Warm up the can in a warm room or in warm water. For best results keep the can at room temperature during application.

Application

• Dispense the foam sparingly to avoid excess overflows. Repeat shaking
  regularly during application.
• Remove the plastic cap from the can and screw the plastic pipe tightly onto the
  can. When working with the can always keep the can upside down (valve down).
  Dosage is adjustable by pressing the trigger of the valve. Since the foam is
  expanding until cured, some free space for expanding should be left.
• Moisturising the surfaces and the foam improves adhesion and cured foam’s
  cellular structure.
• If there are longer pauses than 5 to 10 minutes during working, the nozzle and
  valve must be cleaned using a Ceresit Cleaner TS 100.

Recommendations  

Limitations to joint maximal width exist in regard of ambient temperature and humidity levels.
In dry conditions (during winter time, in rooms with central heating etc.), in order to get best foam structure and foam properties it is recommendable to fill gaps and joints in several layers by the application of smaller foam strings (up to 3 -4 cm thickness) and slightly moisturizing between every layer.
At very dry conditions, the foam may be brittle directly after the hardening. This brittleness is a temporary effect and disappears after a while or by warming up. Once the foam is flexible, it does not get brittle again even at cold temperatures.
